We are very strict on our sparring contact!
Please follow our rules and equipment requirements listed in your training manual.

What questions should I ask when deciding upon a school?

  • Will my child get injured?

No, we do not allow full contact while training. Karate is a contact sport but we do everything we can to minimize injuries.  This includes buying protective gear and restricting contact.

  • Where do I get the equipment needed?

We sell all equipment on site.

  • Who teaches the classes?

All instructors are at least 2nd Degree Black Belt and have a minimum of 5 years experience.  All instructors have clean police background checks.  Lead Instructor Rob Blandenburg is nationally certified under PCMA, which can be verified through their website.

  • Will I be able to keep up with the rest of the class?

You are not expected to as a beginner.  That's why we have belts.  Students are expected to perform at their belt level. So as a beginner, you do your best and forget the rest.

  • Will I be able to take what I learned and defend myself from others?

Of course, all that is taught in Karate class is geared toward real-life situations. Not point or ring where there is a judge to protect you.
